Part of the Gay Los Angeles Guide — bars, events & things to do.
Los Angeles, California
Classic WeHo video bar with music videos, go-go, and drag nights.
Revolver is a West Hollywood video bar, one of the strip's longest-running names, revived in 2011 in the space it had held for decades. The screens drive the room, running a music-video mix from current pop to campy throwbacks, and the crowd sings along. Go-go dancers, drag spots, and themed nights round out the week. Come for the playlists and the people-watching rather than a big dance floor; this is a video-bar-first experience, busiest on weekend nights. The crowd mixes locals and visitors, and it sits in the thick of the Santa Monica Boulevard cluster, steps from Micky's and Mother Lode for an easy bar-hop. New ownership took over in recent years but kept the format intact.
